Call for Candidates – Research Committee

Because the term of several of our members will be up by June 2022, some positions in the Research committee will become available. If you would like to be actively involved in the EAES (face to face committee meetings, congresses, reviewing the abstracts and videos that will be submitted for the annual congresses, etc.) and you have an affinity for research, we invite you to apply. Members of the committees will also be asked to be reviewers for the Surgical Endoscopy Journal.

Research committee:

The mission of the EAES Research committee is to strengthen the clinical, educational and basic science research in minimally invasive interventions by supporting and coordinating novel research activities across the EAES.

Selection procedure:

The applications will be reviewed by the committee on the following criteria:

* Academic experience & research quality
* Leadership
* Commitment & motivation
* Geographical consideration

Term of Office:

Following our bylaws each committee member will serve a 2-year term and his/her position is eligible for re-election for another 2-year term.

Submitting your candidacy:

Only paid up EAES members are eligible to submit their candidacy. Submission deadline: 15 May 2022.
