To advance the scope, applications and quality of minimally invasive surgery through support for translational research and critical appraisal of process, technique and technology used in MIS throughout Europe and globally.
Mission
To facilitate the delivery of MIS research carried out on behalf of the EAES;
To promote the application of optimum research methodology to a diverse demographic including younger researchers;
To promote dissemination of high quality MIS research across the membership including publication in Surgical Endoscopy;
To encourage research collaboration within the EAES membership and with other appropriate societies.
