Programme committee

The Programme committee is responsible for the scientific programme of the EAES annual congress — the flagship event bringing together the endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery community each year.

The committee’s central mission is to design a programme that reflects the very latest advances in the field whilst maintaining a strong foundation in core surgical knowledge, ensuring the congress is valuable to members at every stage of their career.

To achieve this, the committee draws on input from all EAES committees and task forces, as well as from partner and sister societies worldwide. This broad collaboration guarantees a diverse and internationally representative programme. Alongside keynote sessions and state-of-the-art lectures, the committee organises hands-on courses and masterclasses on the most relevant and sought-after topics in endoscopic surgery.

EAES members are encouraged to contribute to the congress programme by submitting abstract proposals, suggesting session topics, or engaging directly with the committee. Your expertise and perspective help shape an event that continues to set the standard for scientific excellence in minimally invasive surgery.
