Vision

To promote high-quality research and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in surgery.

Mission

To do so, we set standards for surgical research involving AI, develop and clinically translate surgical AI, and educate the surgical community on AI. Believing in the need and value of multidisciplinary collaboration, we facilitate cooperation between key stakeholders for surgical AI in academia, health care systems, industry and patient representation.
