* The trainee/resident fee is only applicable for master and PhD students as well as for residents in training and a certificate from the supervisor or head of department must be forwarded together with the registration. Registrants need to be under the age of 40 at the time of the congress.
* The student fee is only applicable for medical students at university/college level who have not finished any medical degree yet. A student ID or a certificate confirming the student status at the time of the congress signed by the dean of the university/college is required.
* The engineers fee is only applicable for professionals working as a technician or engineer in the medical field without any medical degree.
* The OK assistant/nurses fee is only applicable for registered nurses. A copy of the diploma / certificate is required.
In case of doubt about the applicable registration fee, EAES shall decide.
The EAES annual congress is only accessible to certified healthcare professionals, associated press, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the science, management and development of surgical endoscopy. By registering, you accept that non-healthcare professionals, including children, will not be able to access the congress area.
Masterclasses and hands-on courses:
Please note: participation in the masterclasses and hands-on courses are limited (see course description for maximum participants). Participation is only available to participants registering also to the core congress.
Technology Symposium:
A special registration fee to attend the Technology Symposium applies to those registered for the core congress.
Financial support
Special registration fees are available for surgeons coming from low income countries. Please contact the EAES office at registration@eaes.eu for further information.
Press registration:
Journalists can obtain free registration to the congress. Media organisations whose main objective is to promote their own products or services (i.e. marketing, advertising, financial analysis, or public relations firms) may not register as press.
A copy of a press card dated 2024 is required.

Membership:
Please note: outstanding payments for EAES membership will be checked by the EAES Office.
Reduced registration fees will not apply if there are outstanding payments.

Travel grants:
A limited number of travel grants is available for EAES members who submitted a abstract and have been accepted for presentation at the annual congress. The value of the grant is €500 each plus waived registration fee. Applications must be accompanied by a brief CV and sent to the EAES Office. Deadline for application is 1 April 2024.
