The 27th international EAES congress is taking place at the Barcelo Convention Center in Sevilla. This is an accessible location whether you are travelling by air, train, public transport or car. There are a variety of options available and more information about getting around in Sevilla is currently gathered by our team in the Executive Office. More information will follow soon.
Arriving by air
If you decide to fly to Seville, you’ll land at the Seville airport, also called the San Pablo airport. From the airport, you can get to the congress venue in just 10 minutes and to the centre of Sevilla in just 15 minutes if you use your own car, rent a car or take a taxi. And it will take just 35 minutes if you choose the bus. In the annex, we detail these services. For more information check the taxi and bus time tables.
Arriving by train
Currently, you can reach the Santa Justa Station on high-speed lines from Cordoba, Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona on the southwest-northeast line of the AVE and from Malaga on the AVANT trains. And thanks to high-speed connections with Europe, today a person could travel, for example, from London to Seville along high-speed rails the whole way.
Santa Justa Station terminal is just a 15-minute walk from the city centre. For more information see the station hours.
Arriving by car
It is possible to access the conference centre by road and parking is available at the venue. The hotel parking has 105 spaces (2 of them for electric cars). Across the street and with direct access from the Hotel, The Isla Mágica Parking has an asphalted parking area of 10,000 m2 which offers a private parking space and can be used for the dynamic testing of vehicles.
