4K multi-angle imaging in laparoscopic surgery
Satellite symposium by Karl Storz
12:45 – 13:45
Sevilla 1

Program:

Description: The symposium focuses on the advantages of the use of a multi-angle scope (EndoCAMeleon®) in combination with the modern imaging technologies.
The EndoCAMeleon® enables the surgeon to use a high degree of flexibility and thereby breaks the limits that were previously set to conventional rigid scopes: The direction of view of the EndoCAMeleon® can be smoothly adjusted between 0° and 90° and  thus optimally adapted to the respective surgical situation. In combination with 4K imaging technology the multi-angle scope delivers an optimal image while at the same time offering the highest level of flexibility.

Topics:
Prof. Thomas Carus: 4K Laparoscopy with EndoCAMeleon – see better, treat better
Prof. Mohammed Abu Hilal: The role of innovative technology in Laparoscopic Liver Surgery
