Karl Storz EAES Award
Best Oral presentation:

The KARL STORZ  award is an educational award. To support the development of the surgeons a registration to an IRCAD course in Straßbourg is offered to the winner of this award. The course can be selected by the award winner. The award represents the course registration and travel expenses up to a maximum value of EUR 2.500 in total.

Best Video Presentation

EAES prize of EURO 2500 selected out of 7 best scoring abstracts during a special award session.

Best Technology contribution

EAES prize of EURO 2500 for Residents* or young doctors** as presenting author selected out of 7 best scoring abstracts during a special award session.

Best Poster presentations

10 prizes of EURO 200 each plus a 1 years EAES membership for submissions by Residents in training* as presenting author

NOTE: all abstracts selected for prize presentation should not been published (even in part) or submitted for publication and are obliged to publish in the journal Surgical Endoscopy. The award will be given only after submission of the manuscript within one month from the meeting

Travel grants:

A limited number of travel grants is available for EAES members who submitted an abstract and have been accepted for presentation at the annual congress. The value of the grant is €500 each plus waived registration fee. Applications, accompanied with a CV, can be submitted using an online application form.  Deadline 1 August 2021.
