Getting around
The 17th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery is taking place at the CCIB Congress Centre in Barcelona, Spain. This is an accessible location whether you are travelling by air, train, public transport or car.
Arriving by air
If you decide to fly to Barcelona, you’ll land at Barcelona Airport.
Barcelona Airport is located approximately 12 km south-west of the city centre. From Barcelona, you can fly direct from/to many cities in Europe, including Paris, London, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome and Brussels.
Arriving by train
Barcelona has direct railway links with a number of important destinations, such as Paris and high-speed train to Madrid, eastern Spain and more than thirty destinations all over the country that allow you to travel quickly and comfortably. The city’s major railway stations and metropolitan rail network ensure you can travel all over Catalonia by train without any difficulties. For more information see the railway webpage.
Arriving by car
Barcelona is well connected and has a large amount of car parks. The motorway and road network will take you anywhere in the city by car although it’s worth bearing in mind that traffic can be heavy at the main entry points of Barcelona during rush hour. – read more
